The Publication Design course explored the value and versatility of Adobe InDesign through the process of creating a complete magazine over seven weeks. This project required developing the magazine’s theme, layout, and visual identity based on a provided location and target audience.
I produced an original 16-page publication featuring a Palm Springs home tour, an interview, a spotlight piece, and two custom advertisements designed to fit the magazine’s style and tone. Additionally, I created a media kit to support the publication’s branding and marketing approach. This project strengthened my understanding of publication structure, editorial flow, and cohesive visual storytelling.
